In the sauna area, people are naked or wrapped in towels. You need swimwear for the bigger pools though. Every full hour there is an herbal infusion in the main sauna performed by the bath attendant. The timetable states the fragrance. It's enjoyably exhausting, absolutely relaxing and so much worth the experience.

Completed in 1901, Müllersches Volksbad is the first public indoor swimming pool in Munich. Architect Karl Hocheder used different styles of Moorish architecture and Roman themes to create this beautiful place. This place is open for public use and has a gentleman's pool, a ladies pool, showers, individual baths, a Finnish sauna and steam baths in the renovated structure.
